About The Author

Mark D. Tyszka has lived his entire life in Central Connecticut. He was born in New Britain in 1954 as the second of what would become a family of five children. Though both of his parents worked, money was always in short supply. Not long after he was born his family moved into a public housing project in Bristol where Mark lived until he was 24.

“You’ll Learn” is a journey of self-exploration, starting in childhood when the first ideas of who we are begin to form. It moves into the early days of work, where Mark faces new challenges, dreams, and the realities of adult life.

Along the way, the importance of relationships becomes clear, with friends, mentors, and loved ones playing key roles in moments of doubt and discovery. Each part of the story shows how growing up and the people we meet along the way help us understand ourselves and find our place in the world.
